Youth for Christ is making a huge impact across the UK, whether it’s through resources like the revamped Good News Bible and by sharing Jesus with young people.

This walk will be tough: heat, sand, sweat. It’s no holiday. But if it helps raise funds and reach more young people with the gospel, it’s worth it. Romans 10:15: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.”

Heading into the Desert for me is a personal response to a deeper call to walking with Jesus.

He called me to walk alongside young people in their own journeys of faith, and I want to always make sure I am doing that the best I can. It means going where it’s uncomfortable and trusting God to shape and refine something new in me.

This challenge isn’t just physical or practical, it’s spiritual.

Yes, raising funds will go directly towards the practical, (renewing and rewriting youth Bible resources and ministry content on a national level), but it will also be funding the spiritual to overflow into the lives of those I encounter, equipping me to serve Jesus with all that I am.

Youth for Christ has massively shaped my life. From reading the Youth Bible, going to local youth events, to hearing their team share good news at Spring Harvest. So this is my way of giving back, raising money, and shouting about an organisation that’s all about sharing Jesus with young people. Thanks so much for sponsoring me.
